Public notice to students for 53 university accommodations in Olbia

There are 53 accommodation units available for off-site students attending degree courses in Olbia at the University of Sassari.

The lodgings have been created by Cipnes Gallura inside the Geovillage in Olbia. The rooms will be available from the 2023/2024 academic year, which starts next October.

All students with off-site status can submit expressions of interest for the 53 accommodations: national and international, including those in the "Erasmus" programme. There are four types of students who can apply for the accommodation:

Students regularly enrolled and attending any course of study active and/or activated by the University of Sassari in the academic year 2022/2023 (enrolled in the 1st year and/or subsequent years).
Students intending to enrol (freshmen) in the 1st year of any degree course active and/or to be activated for the academic year 2023/2024.

Those enrolled in Specialisation Courses/Schools in the Legal Professions and Specialisation Courses/Schools in the Medical/Health Care Area.

Doctoral students.

The choice was made by Cipnes Gallura to guarantee more and better services for the University in Olbia, support the full right to study of the new generations and contribute to the sustainability of the economy of Olbia and Gallura, the areas in which the industrial consortium operates.

The Geovillage's 53 lodgings are furnished with good quality materials/elements, equipped with an indoor toilet for exclusive use and air conditioning (hot-cold). The rooms are supported by communal areas for recreational activities and/or community sharing with an integrated range of fundamental complementary services: concierge/supervision services provided by the reception desk, canteen/restaurant area where accommodation recipients can take their meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, laundry area with self-service, "student hub" area conceived as a collective study room served by a wi-fi system for connection to the Internet.

The Geovillage facilities are easily connected to the city of Olbia by the Aspo public transport lines, which has a terminal in the Geovillage parking area.

The 53 lodgings are made available by Cipnes Gallura following the protocol agreement signed with Ersu Sassari and the University of Sassari.

The Cipnes Gallura has already shared an initiative with the Ministry for Universities and Research for the usability of the Geovillage facility (pursuant to Law no. 338 of 14 November 2000).

Therefore, Cipnes Gallura - by implementing the agreement with the University of Sassari, the Olbia University Pole Consortium Association (UniOlbia), the Municipality of Olbia and the Regional Authority for the Right to University Study (ERSU Sassari) - will contribute to qualifying and promoting the University of Sassar's educational offer according to the "University Campus" model.
